A year of Reading and writing for this grade, following the scheme of work the department teaches from. Assessed by class work through the year and one piece of extended work a term. Taught to the whole class together, with the teacher leading from the front and time set aside each lesson for work on your own.

Works across Grade 3, which is more overlap than it sounds. Teaches the class together, then leaves time in every lesson for work on your own. Marks quickly, and says what to do next rather than only what went wrong.
